The beginning of this trail is an obscure pull-off from the side of the road. Opt for parking across the street near White Oak Hollow FS # 1195 trailhead. This most striking feature of this trail is the volume of bottles, cans, and assorted trash from local ATV use. If you can, please consider picking some up to preserve this nature trail. This doubletrack trail is deeply rutted and may require water crossing following a good rain. Follow the trail out of the hollow to reach FS #1003.
