Description
On one end, the trail spurs off of the Telephone Canyon Trail #7920 and ascends Telephone Canyon, passing a healthy spring, for which this trail is named. The trail continues its climb out of Telephone Canyon and gains a ridge below Trapper Peak. From here, the road forks. Heading west/southwest is a connector that leads down to Buttars Spring. The Telephone Springs trail continues around a knoll and proceeds south toward Monument Peak, the highest point in the South Hills.
