Description

This is the longer of the two paved trails at Powder Valley Nature Center. You can do the 1/2 mile short loop but the long loop will take you down to follow a beautiful creek area. This trail has some long steep grades.

The visitor center is worth a visit while you are there. Water and restrooms are available there, along with natural history/educational displays. Expect plenty of free parking. All trails start and end at the parking lot.

Powder Valley sits at the intersection of 2 major highways. Highway noise is always present and can be rather loud in the south west section of this trail.
