Description

Access the unmarked parking area via FR 1240. Note that this trail is closed to ATVs, but you'll find the gate here has been vandalized to allow unauthorized access. If you have a spare moment consider picking up trash as this trailhead is frequently covered in litter and beer cans.

Beyond the trailhead, find the doubletrack dirt trail which gradually passes through White Oak Hollow. If rain has been recent, a creek will be flowing a few yards alongside the trail. At the end of the hollow, there are options to connect north to FS #1195A or Tent Ridge Road #1002. Otherwise, continue south to the opposite trailheads off of Hwy M.
