Scioto Audubon Metro Park is a great spot for those near downtown that would like to step away from urban life for a moment and soak up a little nature. Located right along the banks of the Scioto River, this area provides a pleasant mixture of easy paved trails and occasional river views. Along with those river views, expect to see plenty of birds and waterfowl throughout your time in the park.

Starting from the parking area at the southern end of the park, this route loops you along the paved trails in the area, while including a brief foray onto the grassy Wetland Trail for a look at some lovely ponds and often waterfowl.
