Either use two cars, or park at the Sedona end of the hike and take an Uber/Lyft to the start at the Long Canyon trailhead. I advise that you dont go the other way, because there's little/no signal at the Long Canyon Trail to summon a ride.

Start off on Chuckwagon, hiking clockwise. This trail is open to bikes, so watch out at blind turns. At the northernmost point of Chuckwagon theres a sign to Brins Mesa Trail. Cross two sections of Forest road 152 to find Brins Mesa Trail. From there it's a slow climb to the Mesa. Pass the end of Soldier Pass Trail to arrive at spectacular views. continue and descent a fairly steep trail all the way to the trailhead. It's about a one mile hike along quiet roads to downtown Sedona from there.
