Description

The Double Falls Trail is a 0.7 mile (one-way) spur that starts on the Hidden Passage Trail and terminates at a nice double waterfall. The trail begins approximately 3.7 miles from the Hidden Passage Trail trailhead (assuming it is done in a counter-clockwise direction). The first half of the trail descends from the rim of the gorge down to the creek. The trail passes by several scenic cliff faces as it switchbacks down to Thompson Creek. At 0.5 miles the trail passes through a nice camping area before it crosses Thompson Creek.

The creek has been less that 10" deep when I've done it, but there are no good rocks to hop on, so I've had to wade both times I've done this trail.

Once the creek has been crossed, the trail continues for 0.2 miles to Double Falls.
