Description

This is a main trail that splits from the trail between the parking lot and NW entrance and routes you to the Cowskin Creek crossing at Pawnee Street.

Flora & Fauna

Lots of deer, some opossums and armadillos and lots of birds, from song birds to large raptors. Bats are common in the summer.

I looked at maps from 1887, 1943 and 1956 for the area and this was a road to a homestead!! I'm excited to get a pic of the homestead location now that I know about where it is!!

This trail used to be 5+ feet from the edge.

This is a really neat example of ground slump...where the creek has caused this 50ft diameter section of dirt to fall downwards about 5 feet.
