Overview

Most of this loop is part of the North South Trail: Segment 1 - Charleston, so it does lead out to the road to the north. There are some historic items, like an old dam and a few building foundations, and of course a number of farmer walls.

Need to Know

No facilities.

Description

The trails are utilized as roads for environmental management and marked at the trailhead with information pertinent to the entire area. There is plenty of parking.

The path is a dirt road so it is wide and relatively smooth terrain. However, there a number of streams that cut across the road so it can be boggy in areas.

Perfect fall jog/hike! Wide trails, rolling, scenic views without worry of roots under the leaves to trip on. I'd do this one again, and again… — 15h 30m
