Overview

Part of a larger trail system that runs up and down this ridge, the loop to Pinnacle Trail has some gentle hiking with good views.

Description

The hike starts out with a gentle climb crossing a small brook before reaching the first intersection. At this point, you can go either way around the loop—both ways pass the great westerly view at the top.

Along the trail are many historical plaques describing forestry and old foundations of farmhouses. This loop is great any time of the year, just remember to bring snowshoes if deep snow is present in the area!

History & Background

Old farmland and foundations found along the route. Many plaques describing historical locations.
