Description
Spanning nearly 30 miles, the Fox River Trail follows an old rail corridor spanning between Green Bay and the community of Hilbert, Wisconsin. While most commonly traveled along its northern length, by virtue of being close to Green Bay and offering pleasant river views, its not uncommon to find people on trail throughout its entire length. The trail is often speckled with cyclists, but expect to see a variety of trail users while out and about.
After leaving the city behind in the north, the trail takes on a rural character as it continues south through farmland and peaceful pastoral surroundings.
Flora & Fauna
Expect plenty of trees along the route along with waterfowl taking advantage of the river.
