Family Friendly Nothing dangerous along this trail, and the trail is quite short so it can be done in less than 30 minutes. There are several informative trail markers along the trail that explain it's history!

Description

Clark's Hill/Norton State Historic Site is located on the eastern edge of Jefferson City, Missouri. The park preserves one of the campsites used by the Lewis and Clark Expedition as well as a lookout point from which William Clark viewed the confluence of the Osage and Missouri rivers. American Indian burial mounds may also be seen at the site.

This trail is a one-way singlebtrack that consists of a few steeper hills, which makes for a fun trail hike on the way back down! Plenty of views, as well as wildlife. Don't get confused and wander down a game trail, I'm not sure what you'll find at the end of them! Happy hiking!

The end of the trail. There's a nice lookout point with multiple benches.

Careful along the bluff edges, the bluffs are sheer and mossy! This isn't a necessary part of the trail, I was a skip off trail in this picture.
