Need to Know

No restrooms along the trail. Vehicle entrance fee is required; daily passes ($3 for residents of Ingham County, $5 for non-residents) and yearly passes ($32 for residents and $42 for non-residents) are available. Prices as of November 2019.

Description

The Orange Cut-off provides a closer view of the wetland in the center of Lake Lansing Park North while keeping your feet dry. Some parts of the trail can be on the steeper side, but it is a beautiful hike where you can see birds, hawks, and other wildlife. Be sure to wear orange in the fall, the park is a designated hunting area for specially licensed bow hunters to manage the deer herd.
