Description

While the trail tends to be a bit steep at times, it stakes you straight up to some of the best views in the park. From the Ocean lookout you can see Mount Battie, the town of Camden, and all of Penobscot Bay including Acadia. Look really carefully on a clear day and you might even see Mount Washington to the west.

A lot of tree roots. Pretty decent incline. Rocks to walk on and use for ascent are very stable. Not much flatland on the ascent up to Adams lookout.
