The trail begins at the Trailhead Sign heading toward the clubhouse and ranch entrance. Look for the Orange Arrows. It crosses a cattleguard heading to a ranch house then winds between a few of the ranch houses before heading along the perimeter of a large field.

The entire trail is level or slightly downhill to where it connects back to the Lercher 15 Yellow Trail. There is a small amount of climbing after connecting back to the Yellow Trail. There are a couple of cattle guard crossings and hikers almost always have the clubhouse in sight. Taking right hand turns will take hikers back to the trailhead.

The entire loop back to the trailhead is about 1.75 miles.
