Description

This trail along the South Fork of the Rockfish River features two segments - Geology Trail to the west and the Kids in Parks TRACK Trail to the east. Interpretive information is available at the parking area kiosk and the Natural History Center (located approximately 1 mile north on hwy 151). This section of river has benefited from numerous habitat restoration efforts, including riparian plantings along the stream bank and j-hook installations to rebuild riffles and pools.
