After crossing the yellow gate, it's an easy trail to follow. The trail is a double lane, and is very clear.

You park at the highest point of the trail. Then it is an easy descent until you reach a campsite. There is one turn on the left side of the trail that you can take to extend your hike, but otherwise this is just an easy 1.2-mile trail out to a campsite.

The campsite offers a fire pit and a good viewpoint through the trees.
