Very easy and right by the beach and beachside campsites.
Need to Know
If you're not camping in the South Nicolet Campgrounds you'll have to start your hike by parking at Nicolet Beach and hiking though the grounds on the road. The road meets the beach on the NW side of the parking lot by the ranger parking area.
It can be very swampy on the trail so be prepared for mud and mosquitos most of the year and lots of puddles after a rain. The trail also has many large, flat, limestone rocks that have been eroded smooth and are very slick when muddy.
Description
The Minnehaha
Trail mostly serves as a connector trail to
Eagle Trail from Nicolet Bay or as an extremely easy hike for people with small kids. From just past site 844, the path winds through cedar trees along Green Bay and Eagle Harbor, ending at the junction for
Eagle Trail. It's a straight, well marked path that is impossible to get lost on. While not specifically ADA accessible, the many shallow cedar roots can be an obstacle, this would be one of the easier hikes for the mobility impaired people to try in the park.
