Overview
This is a short hike that takes you down to the Cut River and gives you great views of the bridge from below.
Need to Know
Parking & restrooms are available on both the west side and east side of the bridge. The Cut River Bridge does has a sidewalk so you can return back to your car.
Description
Parking is located on both the east and west side of the bridge right off highway. The trail can be accessed from either side as well although it isn't very well marked from the west parking lot.
This trail takes you down below the bridge and out to the shores of Lake Michigan. There are three different paths down to the shore, two of which follow the contours of the hill, and the other which is a series of stairs going down to the river.
Either way you go, you can use the sidewalk to return from one end of the bridge to the other.
