Description
Yellow Triangle Trail is marked with eight yellow triangular blazes and intersects at several points with the Fitness Trail.
The trailhead, along with trail information and a map, is found at the end of the parking lot area.
At 0.1 miles, hikers will find the #1 triangle blaze and should keep right to stay on the trail. Soon thereafter, at the #2 triangle blaze, the trail splits into three directions and hikers should continue onward via the middle path. A small wooden footbridge is then crossed. At the #3 triangle, keep straight.
At 0.2 miles, the scenic resting area presents itself. The area consists of a small bench with an obscured view of the pond. Continuing on, hikers will see triangle #4 and continue straight on the trail. Hikeers will then come across another small wooden footbridge.
At 0.3 miles, a house is visible on the right. At this point, keep left to maintain course on the trail. Triangle #5 will soon be visible, and hikers should again keep left.
At 0.4 miles, another bridge will be crossed, which will soon bring hikers to another scenic point with a bench. This scenic point is a higher-ground viewpoint of a small section of the wooded forest.
At 0.5 miles, the trail grade increases slightly uphill. At 0.6 miles, keep left at triangle #7. At 0.7 miles, the trail again intersects with the Fitness Trail. At this section, there are bars for dips and a bar walk.
At triangle #8, continue straight and at 0.7 miles, the other section of the Fitness Trail intersects. This time, hikers are presented with the hurdles and vault. Continuing on, the trail suddenly opens up to a large sandy area. Continuing on at 0.8 miles, the trail finishes off down a gravel road which intersections with the main entrance to the beach area.
