Description
This blue-blazed trail begins near the Tennessee River behind the TRGT Pot Point cabin and winds up the mountain to end at Davis Pond Camp Site in Prentice Cooper State Park. The trail has a very short spur to Blowing Wind Falls. There are multiple creek crossings -- many are seasonal, a few are not. Most creek crossings have rocks available so feet don't get wet. If you go after heavy rains, this may not be true. There is a sharp 90-degree left turn after the creek crossing 2.4 miles in from the trailhead at Pot Point cabin. I missed this the first time since there's an older access trail that continues straight.
