My GPS did not take me to the parking near the trailhead, probably because the parking is on a driveway, not a road. Do not turn into the main entrance of the Northwood School. If you are coming out of the main entrance of Northwood School turn right, then go to the stop sign and turn right. Turn right again in approximately 200 feet. The trailhead parking is on the left in about 0.2 miles.

Starts as an easy hike through the woods. About halfway to the summit, it gets steep and a little challenging. Before reaching the summit, there is a steep rock formation to cross. A rope is in place to help you get across this area. The summit has a view that includes the olympic ski jumps. The view can be expanded by going to some lower rock formations nearby. I recommend using the long trail when returning to the trailhead. There are few blazes, but the trail is easy to follow and there are signs at intersections.
