Need to Know

Parking on Black Strap Road at the bottom of the Poplar Ridge Trail or on Falmouth Road at the Lowell Preserve trailhead. Maps available here.

Description

Take the blue blazed Outback Trail to the start of this loop from the popular Poplar Ridge area. Take a right on the red blazed Epiphany Trail. Some maps label it has "Serendipity," but trail signs have it marked as "Epiphany." Stay right on the red blazed trail and begin a short climb to be rewarded with a fun downhill.

This route splits left on blue/red blazes to create a short loop down to the Outback Trail. Continue right for a slightly longer loop. Continue on rolling terrain on the blue blazed Outback Trail back to the beginning of the loop over some roots and small stream crossings and back to the Poplar Ridge Trail.
