Sign at the trailhead parking says skiing only, no hikers. However, Santa Fe National Forest website calls it a "summer hiking loop."

Description

Parts of the trail are very new and thus turns can be missed easily. However, many new signs are being posted and blue diamonds mark the path on the trees.
