Description

Trail leaves from the parking lot at the end of a long and winding dirt track. It basically follows the lake with little to no elevation gain for several miles until the end when a washout has necessitated a small detour up some switchbacks to higher elevation. Take care, as many people have gone off trail, creating various diversions that have varying degrees of safety. This hike is a good acclimatization hike as until the end elevation gain is minimal.
