Description

There are two options to get to the slide. One is across a wooden bridge from the parking area and through the woods. This approach had a lot of bugs in July when I did it. It leads to the slide part-way up. I wanted to experience the entire slide, so I waded in ankle-deep water along the shore of Upper Cascade Lake to the slide.

Going up the slide, one encounters rocks, boulders, logs, and some small bushes. When I did it, it was dry until I got very close to the falls. After a heavy rain, the entire slide could have running water to deal with.
I have a video on Youtube. It is about 8 minutes youtube.com/watch?v=LAJX5rP…
