Description

Leaving Yost Meadow Loop right before Fern Creek, the trail steadily heads up the hillside paralleling the creek. At 0.6 miles, the trail makes a sharp right turn for the final ascent. Views of the lake open up at the very last minute but are stunning and rewarding.
