Description

From the Green Canyon Singletrack, where the the trail crosses to the north side of Green Canyon Drive and continues through the campsite with the first little bridge, turn right, continuing up Green Canyon Drive. After about .3 miles, you'll see the sign for the Preston Valley trailhead.

Alternatively, you can start at the main trailhead by beginning at the mouth of Green Canyon, drive about 2.3 miles up the Green Canyon Drive until you see the sign on the right side of the road for the trailhead.
Preston Valley Trail connects Green Canyon to the Beirdneau Peak Trail or to Wind Caves Way.

From the start of the trailhead, it's a relatively steep climb, but it is a well maintained trail with beautiful views of Green Canyon. Most of the terrain is runnable with a few technical sections of rocks or roots.
