This trail provides an alternate connection to the McKeldin View Trail from the Horse Hockey loop with some picturesque views in a field of wildflowers along the way. Branching off of Horse Hockey as it opens into an open field, this trail follows the western edge of the field heading north on a gentle slope. Soon after the trail re-enters the cover of the tree canopy, it begins its descent back toward the Patapsco Valley. While this return is slight at first, it steepens as it goes. The trail eventually connects with the McKeldin View Trail, offering access to either the Chevrolet Trail or a river crossing into the Mckeldin Area.
