From the entrance of the park, stay left. The trail carves its way up the side of the ravine before attaining the lip of the ravine. Pass the Apoquindo Falls Trail on your left, staying on the lower edge. The trail stays relatively flat as the ravine walls rise and you arrive at the verdant creek bottoms.

Cross the bridge with a good view of the Los Peumos falls and you soon are turning back down toward the park entrance. About a mile from the falls, you meet the Ruta Paleontologica Trail which you can take back to the entrance.
