Description

This is an unusual trail. It is part trail, part religious experience, and part indigenous myth.

Along the trail, there are signs promoting the legend that St. Thomas once lived in a cave on the hill, and you can find his footprints in the rock. For good luck, people put their foot in the footprint.

In other spots, they have statues of mythical creatures from Guarani (indigenous) tradition. It's campy but kind of awesome and very Paraguayan.
