A paved parking lot is located on the west side of Red Arrow Highway. Galien River County Park is a Berrien County park with a 1.44-mile trail system leading through woods with panoramic views from two overlooks: one high above the Galien River and one at river level.

The trail from the parking lot starts as a gravel path which is accessible, leading to the two lookout points—one along a boardwalk to the river-level marsh platform and a second boardwalk to the elevated Marsh Tower. It continues along the dirt Ridge Trail which goes through the woods, looking back to the parking area.

Multiple benches and resting points are available along the Canopy Walk leading to the Marsh Tower and the river-level March Platform making this trail ideal for your children and those who have a harder time moving.
