The steep climb can be pretty rocky

From the bottom at Poe Paddy Drive, this trail is fairly gentle as it winds through the forest between Big Poe Creek and Slide Mountain. The middle segment of this trail gets pretty tough as you ascend straight up for approximately 600'. No switchbacks, just straight up. After it levels out at the summit the trail becomes gentle again until it terminates at Poe Paddy Drive.
