This is an easy, short trail.
Description
The Pomona Natural Bridge is a short but very picturesque hike a short distance from the Pomona
Little Grand Canyon Loop.
The road into the Natural Bridge Trail can be a little rough, but it is maintained by the Forest Service. Be prepared for some bumps. The parking lot has enough space for several cars and a garbage collection area. No other facilities are present.
The trail itself is a short one (under a half mile) with some lovely overlooks of the natural bridge and (from the bridge itself) some good views of the bluffs next to it. There is a stream running down the trail next to the bridge, along with several small wooden bridges crossing small ravines and the stream along the way. The trail is very well cut, with guard rails along the bluff face. You can access the underside of the bridge and get right up next to the stream that runs beneath it as well.
Overall, this is a very short, but very pretty trail. It's a good way to spend 20 minutes or so. (Probably more if you have a group of excited children. And they WILL be excited on this trail.)
