Description

The trail starts seven miles north of I-80 on Stansbury Island Road at a metal sign that says "Stansbury Island Interpretive Trail". Next to the metal sign is a short access road that leads east to a visible BLM parking area and trailhead for a mountain Stansbury Island Trail. At the end of the trail, you'll see an interpretive kiosk called "Capt. Stansbury Visitor Overlook", a restroom and parking area. To the northeast, there is Boulder Point trail to Boulder Point.

Flora & Fauna

Sagebrush, a few trees. You can meet pronghorns, mule deer and cottontails here.
