From the junction with Gallatin Crest, this appears as an abandoned trail. Sign remains, but tread is essential non-existent from ridge into valley.

Relatively flat trail surrounded by wildflowers that leads into forrest. Trail is overgrown, but 1.5 miles from the end a trail splits up to meadow. 5.4mi — 2h 27m
