Description

At the end of this short off shoot trail you find some park maintained info boards on the local habitat and tree species. There is also a man-made stone wall to rest on and look out over the natural spring water pool below.

If you want to take a dip in the swimming hole... it's at your own risk. You'll have to go a hundred yards or so to the right and down from the overlook stone wall. It's not a hard hike, but lots of low growing cactus sprinkled along the grassy path. The water is always cool, and just a few yards upstream you can sit in a small rock tub where the spring water comes out of the ground.
