Description

Park at the trailhead off the county road along the south border of the Elk River Breaks Natural Area. The trail follows a small bedrock stream, which is surrounded with steep hills on both sides, and multiple water crossings throughout the loop. The trail also climbs into the woods and glades with good views of the surrounding area. Note that there are many ticks here, so take necessary precautions.

This trail is beautiful, fun, and not too uphill but it is definitely not 3.2 miles. It's 5 miles.
