Description

Coal Mine Loop is a short loop that allows you to mix it up on either your climb or descent of Grand Ridge. The trail is largely bench-cut out of the hillside and provides for some nice, twisting elevation gain and loss.

There are a few small stream crossings that represent most of the technicality on the trail. This one allows you to add a little variation to your Grand Ridge hike!
