Description
You can begin your adventure at the western end of Riverside Greenway or you can begin toward the middle at Riverside Park. If you choose the begin at the west end, you'll follow the paved trail east through a residential area along the southern side of Riverside Drive for approximately 0.4 miles before reaching Riverside Park. Here, you'll see views of the South Fork River. Hike down toward the river and out on the observation deck to see if you can spot any wildlife! There's a picnic area at Riverside Park if you want to take a rest or stop to eat.
After Riverside Park, the trail veers away from the river and continues east along Riverside Drive for approximately 0.5 miles. At the eastern end of the trail, there is a short loop around a field where you can turn around to head back to the trailhead.
Parking is available at the western end of the trail (127 Riverside Dr, Cramerton, NC 28032) or toward the middle of the trail at Riverside Park and Greenway (75 Riverside Dr, Cramerton, NC 28032).
