Description

4th Avenue dead ends at a trailhead and tiny turnaround with room for only a few cars to park. The road is narrow and may look like a driveway as you approach it. The trailhead is on the east side of the turnaround and features a small information kiosk with a map. The trail heads east from the kiosk into the woods. It then heads south and crosses the east fork of Tryon Creek before it connects to the Lewis and Clark Trail. There isn't much point to this trail other than to access this lovely free state park from 4th Ave and to get a view of the creek.
