Scenic Overlook Trail

Starting on this trail, you encounter a steepish incline leading into a sandy path meandering along the creek. The trail has a mix of beautiful pine trees, however, you'll encounter numerous burnt pine trees from the 2011 wildfire. The trail will then open up to a mostly exposed section, so early morning departures are recommended in the summer. The trail ends at an overlook of a small valley.
