Family Friendly Easy, paved path that takes you to the monuments.

Description

This is an old road that begins at NW 24th and Burnside. It is closed to cars but popular with walkers, runners, and bikers. It switchbacks up the hillside, making it the most gradual way to get from Burnside to the various monuments and eventually to the Rose Garden. There are a lot of other trails that connect to the drive or pass near it that are made from stairs or dirt singletrack which allows you to create a variety of short, dog-friendly loops. The drive ends at SW Washington Way near from seasonal public restrooms and just south of the Holocaust Memorial.

Flora & Fauna

Many of the diverse plants and trees are labeled.
