Family Friendly Flat, adjacent to service road for strollers.

Horses allowed on sections of this trail.

Need to Know

It's a state park, so unless you have a pass, bring some cash to park. The parking lot itself is on the small side. Get there BEFORE 10 AM and get on the trail to avoid the larger crowds

Description

The service road runs along side this trail where dogs and strollers can easily navigate. However, this unpaved trail does allow horses in places so be careful. The trail itself is amazing and offers access to the river along it's entire length. See the redwoods all along the trail and watch the steam engine cross the bridge where "The Lost Boys" was filmed in part!

Flora & Fauna

Wild flowers, redwoods, small animals!
