Need to Know

During winter, the fully serviced chalet is open and trail passes are required. Off season, there is no fee for trail use, but donations are appreciated.

Description

The trail branches off Birches Run very near Snowshoe Trail D6. There is a slight incline up to the crossing of D7 and then it's an easy trail until the fast run-out at the bottom before merging with McLean Lake Trail. This high trail is notoriously windblown and difficult to keep groomed, so expect to encounter snow drifts along the way when using it in the winter.

Flora & Fauna

Much of this trail was previously burnt resulting in some excellent blueberry patches.
