“This is a Mark Twain Forest trail which follows a ridgeline to multiple primitive campsites.
”
This gravel trail provides vehicle access to Mark Twain National Forest and a number of subsequent non-motorized trails that branch off from the Tent Ridge. This trail follows a ridgeline with three rough campsites. The trail terminates at East Fork Rock Creek. This area is very poorly maintained, but provides shared-use trails with equestrians and ATV riders. Expect rocky and overgrown terrain along a forested, doubletrack path. Be warned that there are two gates marking closed to vehicle areas. These gates have been vandalized with the locks cut off.
