Description

Rex Macbeth River Trail is one of several multi-use, paved trails in the Mankato area that is used for hiking, walking, running, and biking. It offers some nice views of the Minnesota River in an urban setting as you travel on a wide, easy path.

The neat thing about this trail is that it connects to the Kiwanis Recreation Area just north of Mankato along highway 169, which provides more hiking and biking, and a dog park.

Flora & Fauna

Bald eagles can often be seen soaring in the Minnesota River Valley from this trail.
