Family Friendly The trail is wide, well surfaced, and close to a parking area. It's a great place to pick berries. During the winter, it's close to the chalet.

Need to Know

During ski season there is ample parking and a fully serviced chalet. Trail passes are required for skiing.

Off season, the chalet is not open but there is a donation box for contributions towards trail maintenance.

Description

Rabbit Run is the original Birch Brook ski trail and the circuit starts right by the old log cabin. It's not an easy course but the hills are fun. Off season, it is a popular hiking route.

Flora & Fauna

This is one of the best trails for viewing the full range of wildflowers, berries, trees. moss, ferns and shrubs that are typical in central Labrador.
