Overview
Departing from the village of Toès i Entrevalls, this spectacular looping route to the "Gorgues de Carançà" (stream pools of the Carançà River) follows a good stretch of the river between footpaths, bridges and a steep path inside the rocks.
Some of the catwalks and aerial paths may be somewhat difficult for very young children.

Description
You may reach the departure point (Toès i Entrevalls) either by train ("Train Jaune") or by car (parking available).
From there, look for a small bridge that crosses the river that is at the entrance to the parking lot. The path climbs quickly until you reach the fork in front of the power plant. Keep the left until you reach a small tunnel that leads to the entrance to the cornice.
Remember that throughout the tour you need to be very attentive, especially if you do it with children. You'll find sections that circulate around the cornice of the rock, some without handrails or other equipment. There are no railings and the road is irregular. In spite of everything it is a spectacular experience and an adventure for the children.
The return, through the
Roc de la Madriu which presents spectacular views of the river.
