This trail can be accessed via three different gravel lots, depending on the preferred approach. The northern most portion of the trail passes through flat tall grass prairie which serves for cattle grazing during portions of the year. The more interesting southern loop wraps into hardwood forest and views of nearby Stahl Creek. Expect a doubletrack dirt road with little to no signage.
